Freshman Orientation Week is usually held in late August. Next year’s command staff is currently discussing the particulars of orientation week and this page will be updated when plans are finalized.
The purpose of Orientation Week is to acclimate new cadets into the unit and to provide for basic instruction and administrative functions that are necessary prior to full participation in the NJROTC program. Our program will cover four days of administration and orientation material and a fifth day of field fun for the new cadets to establish unit camaraderie. Please ensure that your prospective cadet brings a bag lunch every day. It is extremely important for every new cadet to attend this orientation. We ask that parents do everything possible to reschedule and plans prior to the event, and ensure that your cadet attends.
